Conservation & Restoration
Full re-point using lime mortar on a Georgian hall. The building required lots of stone replacement due to frost damage. All original windows repaired and decorated whilst scaffolding in place.
Handmade bargeboards made to match the main house in Sutton, Cheshire. The house is a former vicarage and had suffered badly whilst empty. All other original facias and bargeboards repaired, replaced and decorated, then all new cast iron style guttering and downspouts fitted.
New window jambs and head made to match original stonework, along with replacement hardwood window. This was part of a larger job fully renovating a 15th century cottage in Butterton, Staffordshire.
Homes and Gardens
Handmade kitchen and media wall in Disley, Cheshire. Hardwood construction using traditional joints then hand painted, with quartz work surfaces.
Replacement kitchen with herringbone flooring and garden room in Chinley, High Peak.
Covered pergola and railway sleeper steps at Millers Dale, Derbyshire. The reclaimed sleeper were used to form around thirty steps to gain access to a former station master’s house. The pergola sits near the top and was made using timber grown within the UK.
Glazed oak balcony in Simmondley, Glossop. Made to provide a siting area to first floor living room
Traditional stone chimney in Harpur Hill, Buxton. Built from scratch as the previous had been removed some years earlier.
Paving and cobbles in Hazel Grove, Cheshire. This is part of a larger landscaping job where a large patio area was built, along with steps to main house, and winding pathways around the perimeter of the house.
Commercial
New bar area, flooring and structural alterations to Bridge 42 restaurant in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire. The new owners needed a full rip out and re-fit in a short timescale. Hand made bar area fitted, herringbone flooring, shaker style wall panelling, structural alterations, cellar conversion and commercial kitchen preparation.
